What a Success !!

The atmosphere, the entertainment, even a NE Sailing Regatta, and a massive Chinese Raffle produced an amazing evening which raised a great amount of money for Sail4Cancer £2300.

There was a variety of masks, from the very glamorous - to the very amusing. There was selection of games which provided guests with the opportunity to spend their monies and support Sail4Cancer. And like all good sailing events all ages came and joined in the party.

One of the highlights of the evening was the NE Sailing Regatta - the winner was Justin a GP14 Sailor from Derwent RSC, closely chased by Adam Ovington from Tynemouth SC

Guests had a chance to catch up on last season - look forward to this season over a game of Giant Jenga or Table Football, but then were caught by Team Trident selling tickets for the Chinese Raffle. where they had a incredible choice of prizes to try and win.

The evening finished with everyone on the dance floor till the early hours

so we hope we lived up to our expectations

to have a great night
with great company
and raise money for a great cause

Why Sail4CAncer
We thought the ideas and aims and objectives of the Charity were very close to our hearts having had many family members and friends who have had cancer, some fatally. But then to involve sailing as a way of raising money for research in the disease and allowing those with cancer and their families the opportunity to try the great sport we all enjoy was a Charity we would like to support.

So,
we decided to party - we reckon we are all quite good at this! and would organise a North East Sailing Charity Ball for Sail4Cancer

And it was a great night so we are doing it all again !!!!
